"Let's just go have fun!" Kevin Pearce is back

Almost two years after Olympic hopeful Kevin Pearce, 24, suffered a brain injury while attempting a training manuever that almost cost him his life, he's back.  Burton Snowboards, headquartered in Burlington, Vermont welcomed their team member and followed him - as did many of his friends -  on one of his first trips up the local mountain since his halfpipe accident December 31, 2009 in Park City, Utah.

Pearce, a world-class competitor is an Artic Challenge champion, won numerous X Games medals, and scored back-to-back European Open wins over rival Shaun White.

"I used to take all this for granted," Pearce said as the ski lift gave him the panoramic view he had missed for so long.
